Roswitha Haas worked as a Set Designer in Germany.  She is a New Zealand resident, lives in Kaikōura, and is a full-time Mum.

She chose the Pohutukawa as her design because of the unique Summer/December symbolism so unfamiliar to her White Christmas childhood.

The Tiny Wee Libarary with Roswitha's artwork is hosted by Te Hā o Mātauranga and is also a mobile library.
